Mardela Girls Soccer Roll WiHi

The Mardela girls soccer team defeated Wicomico High School 10-0 Monday afternoon. The win improved the Warriors to 2-2, while the loss drops the Indians to 0-2.

Kathleen Sann would score to open the game for Mardela, before Kasey Goshorn would find the back of the next from a shot at the top of the box. Shortly after that, Goshorn would add a penalty kick for her second goal of the game. The lead continued to grow from there as Sann would add another goal, as would Goshorn to complete her hat trick. Maddy Catlin would then add a score as the lead would build to 7-0 at half. Mardela continued to battle the second half as they would roll to the win. 

Mardela returns to the field Wednesday when they travel to play Snow Hill, while WiHi plays Parkside on Thursday.
