Polytech field hockey records second shutout of season

The Polytech field hockey team moved to 5-0 on Tuesday, defeating Indian River 3-0 in Dagsboro.

Jamie Trabaudo scored two goals, her first with 16:23 remaining in the first off an assist by Camryn Dennis. Trabaudo’s second came a little over 3 minutes later, off an assist by Alison McKay. The Panthers third goal was scored in the second half, with McKay scoring unassisted. For IR, senior Madison Thune had 11 saves.

Both teams are back in action on Thursday, Polytech will travel to take on Woodbridge (5-0), while Indian River travels to the capital to take on Dover. Both games are set to start at 4 p.m.
