Cape routes Polytech to move to 3-1

The Cape Henlopen Vikings football team routed Polytech 47-0 in their “homecoming” game on Thursday afternoon.

The game had to be pushed forward due to coming conditions of Hurricane Joaquin. For Cape, Rasheed Woods scored touchdowns from 39, 38, and 43. Kolbi Wright had scores of 15 and 12, and Jeremiah Smack scored on a five yard run as well as a 30 yard fumble return.

The Vikings are back in action on next Friday, October 9th, visiting Sussex Central. Polytech (0-4) travels that same night to take on Dover.
