Harrington man charged with offensive touching

A Harrington man has been charged, after he reportedly assaulted another person.

Harrington Police say on Sunday Officers responded to a call about an assault at a home on East Liberty Street. Once on scene, Police say they found that 33-year-old Larry Wilkerson, went to the victim’s home to confront him about driving at a high rate of speed on Grant Street earlier in the day.

According to the report, the argument escalated, and Wilkenson slapped the victim in the face.

Police say they were able to find Wilkerson, and take him into custody. He was charged with offensive touching and disorderly conduct, before being released on a $200 unsecured bond.
