Delaware man wanted after fleeing traffic stop

Delaware State Police asking for the public's help in locating a wanted man, after fleeing a traffic stop and ensuing a police chase Saturday evening.

The suspect has been identified as 32-year old Donshell T Weston, of Seaford.

According to police, a trooper attempted to stop a vehicle traveling Northbound on Coverdale Road north of Hastings Farm Road. 

This led to a police chase which ended when Weston's vehicle struck a utility pole at Fisherman’s Bridge where he then fled on foot.

Weston is currently wanted for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Disregarding a Police Officer Signal, Resisting Arrest, and other traffic related charges.
