Laurel man arrested for 4th DUI charge

A Laurel man is facing charges for his forth driving under the influence offense.
Laurel Police say on Friday, Officers tried to stop a vehicle that was driving erratically, and on the grass median of Seaford Road, when the vehicle went into a ditch. After Police met with the driver, 45-year-old Rafael Garcia-Galindo, they found that he was extremely intoxicated, and took him into custody.
Police say Garcia-Galindo had been arrested and convicted three other times in the past, for operating a vehicle while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Garcia-Galindo was charged with his forth DUI offense, along with several other charges, including operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, driving on the wrong side of the roadway and driving in the median of a highway.
He is now being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $4,359 cash bond.
