Midnight madness bike ride through the city

One group of bikers grabbed some glow sticks for a bike ride through Salisbury Friday evening as part of a growing monthly tradition.

The group is called Salisbury Bike Party, local bikers ride together through on loop around the city.

The group rides as a pack through quiet city streets.  We're told dozens turn out for the event which is used as a way to connect the city's cycling community.

"We've gotten a lot of different bike organizations to have their members come out," said organizer Jeremy Kirkendall.  "We have a lot new people coming out every single month.  We'll get 25 to 30 riders most of the months and we're just getting bigger every month."
