WiHi Football Makes It 2 Straight, Shuts Out Snow Hill

The Wicomico High School football team won their 2nd straight ball game Friday night when they defeated Snow Hill 53-0. The win improves the Indians to 2-5, while the loss drops the Eagles to 0-7.
WiHi would open the game with a long drive that would be capped off with a short touchdown run up the middle. The Eagles would be forced to punt, which Barry Gaines Jr. would return all the way to within the 5 yard line. The very next play, Jordan Brittingham would punch it in to stretch the lead to 13-0. Raekwon McCarter would then break a long touchdown run to make it a three score game. Snow Hill continued to battle, but had a hard time finding a offensive rhythm. Brittingham would break another long touchdown run in the second quarter before Gaines would return a kick off to put the game away early. McCarter & Brittingham would finished with 3 touchdowns a piece.
Wi-Hi returns to work Friday when they travel to Queen Anne’s, while Snow Hill host Kent County on Friday.
