Delmar Falls To 0-7, Stumbles Vs. Archmere

The Delmar football team remained winless on the year Friday night after they lost to Archmere 41-21. The loss drops the Wildcats to 0-7 on the year.

The Auks would take the early lead after Patrick Udovich would score a short touchdown run. The ‘Cats would come fighting back, getting a score from Issac Austin. Daniel Bark would then have the response for Archmere, as he bounced a run to the outside and would take it in for the score from 18 yards out. Udovich would then make it a 2 score game with a 54 yard touchdown run. Delmar would come out of the half fighting though, as Jimmy Adkins would lead his team down the field, and cap off the drive with a option run for a score by Kavon Trader. The Auks would answer with another score, before Adkins would go play action, and find Trader for a 66 yard touchdown connection. But the scoring stopped from there for the home team as Archmere would go on to close the game out for the win.

Delmar returns to work next Saturday when they host Seaford.
