UPDATE: Fatal crash in Quantico under investigation

A Mardela Springs man has died, after Police say his vehicle crashed into a telephone pole on Monday morning.
Maryland State Police – Salisbury Barrack says around 7:10 AM on Monday, Troopers responded to Whitehaven Road at Nebo Road in Quantico, for reports of a single vehicle accident. Once on scene, they say they found a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier, that had smashed into a utility pole.
Police say the driver, 24-year-old William Vincent, was the only occupant, and was still inside when they arrived. He was reportedly later pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
Westside and Hebron Volunteer Fire Department also reportedly responded to the incident, near the Green Hill Country Club.
Traffic was re-routed for some time, while the crash was investigated and cleared. The crash reportedly remains under investigation at this time.
