Delmarva officials push precautions for burning

With the fall season comes dry weather, and although an open burning ban ended on Oct. 1st, officials from our area agree that people must still remain cautious.
There is no official red flag warning for Delmarva, but a slight change of weather could show drastic increase to risk factors associated with fire. Many factors go into the risks associated such as humidity and moisture in the air along with wind speeds.
Area officials did not express deep concern, but stressed to use caution while burning any type of fire. They also added that if you have any questions you can reach out to your local forestry agent for more information.
