Seaford man sustains serious injuries in Laurel crash

Police say a Seaford man was seriously injured following a single car crash late Saturday afternoon.

We’re told that just before 6PM, 29-year-old James Laplant, veered off of the roadway in his van, while traveling on Laurel Road.

Delaware State Police say Laplant then apparently tried re-enter the road, but over-corrected, and his van overturned several times.

Authorities say Laplant was flown to Christiana Trauma Center with serious injuries.

We’re told the crash is still under investigation.
