Homeless man charged with burglary in Harrington

A homeless Harrington man is facing charges, after he reportedly burglarized a home.

Harrington Police say on October 16, they responded to reports of an unknown person inside of an abandoned Clark Street home. Once on scene, they reportedly found 25-year-old Antonio Lewis, inside, and took him into custody.

According to the report, Officers checked the rest of the home, and found damage throughout the entire residence. Police say they learned that an unidentified woman was also inside the home with Lewis, but fled before they arrived.

After processing, Lewis, who was wanted on a capias for failing to appear for a criminal trial for resisting arrest, was charged with burglary second degree, conspiracy second degree, and criminal mischief over $1,000. He was then ordered to be held on a $14,000 secured bail at the Sussex Correctional Institute.
