Colonel Richardson Gets The Win At Home Over Washington
The Colonel Richardson football team has been able to do big things on the field this season, while their record may not display that completely, those whom have watched the Colonels have witnessed something special on the field this season. Friday night, the Colonels were taking on Washington at home looking to get a big win in front of the home crowd.
Colonel managed to bring home two-straight possessions with touchdowns on the ground from Eric Joseph and a perfect pass from Shawne Bowens into AJ Palmer’s hands to take a 14-7 lead in the first quarter. Washington’s scored a touchdown on special teams after an onsides kick went into Tyler Poulson’s hands and he was alone for the score to get the Jaguars on the board.
Both teams continued to fight their way through the game eager to add another win to their season, and the Colonels would do just that with the victory over the Jaguars 43-12.
