Dover Police investigating shooting death of Middletown man

The Dover Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a 36-year-old man, that happened late Sunday night.
According to police, they received reports of shots fired at about 11:15 PM, in the area of South New Street. Officers say when they arrived, they found Sylvester Williams of Middletown, with a gunshot wound to his torso.
Williams was reportedly taken to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
