Sussex County Today and Tomorrow Conference unites leaders to discuss the future

Sussex County hosted an important conference today to get business leaders and elected officials all under one roof. 

It's called the Sussex County Today and Tomorrow Conference, which takes place every year. 

Governor John Carney tells 47 ABC that the purpose of this conference is to promote economics, partnership and collaboration.  

It's a way to get community members together to discuss multiple topics and develop solutions for the future. 

Governor Carney says its a way to create initiatives, identify needs, and then finally create action

"It's actually something that you probably don't think about, it's just the opportunity for people to come together and talk and share their thoughts. In order to secure the future we have to come up with a common vision of what it's going to look like," Governor Carney tells 47 ABC. 

Governor Carney says this is mostly about securing the future of our communities and towns.
