SU Men’s Soccer Top Mary Washington In CAC Semi’s

The Salisbury University men’s soccer team advanced to the conference championship Wednesday with their 2-0 win over Mary Washington. The Sea Gulls will now host St. Mary’s.

SU jumped out to a 1-0 lead just minutes into the game when Matt Greene would send a corner kick into the box where Brooks Zentgraf would get a head on it and finish far post. The teams would go to half with that score as the game got more physical in the second half. Six yellow cards would be handed out as well as one red. Salisbury continued to attack though as Leslie Umunna would add the final score of the game.
