UMES freshman earns pilot’s license
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – A UMES student is a prime example of dedication and discipline.
Freshman Izaiah Brown earned his pilot’s license in the HBCU’s aviation science program. The path to earning a pilot’s license is quite intense, and COVID-19 made Brown’s journey even harder with restrictions in place. But, Brown soared and defied gravity the next semester, completing all 40 hours of flight training and the private pilot certification in the spring of this year.
We’re told he will work with Boutique Air at BWI and looks forward to gaining more flight experience in the military.
