Local organization gathers donations for homeless

SALISBURY, Md. – One organization helped gather donations for a non-profit who helps the homeless community.

Over the weekend, Johnson’s Seed and Feed posted “Beyond Your Walls Inc. asked, and you guys delivered!” Beyond Your Walls Inc was in need of some donations for their mobile shower and getting more resources to help the community, so Johnson’s set up a donation corner in their store where people could bring in items.

The non-profit shared the post on Facebook and thanked everyone who gave back so they could continue to help people. Meanwhile, Johnson’s Seed and Feed said, “We appreciate your generosity but more importantly, the people that benefit from a warm shower do as well.” They also encouraged the community to continue donating when they can.
