Up and coming organization, working to connect communities to resources
MILFORD, Del. – A developing organization out of Delaware called Love and Hope Rescue Mission, is making difference by focusing on those who might not be able to help themselves.
The organization recently partnered with Tabitha Medical Care out of Milford, to hold vaccination clinics in hopes of getting under served communities vaccinated. However, those with Love and Hope Rescue Mission tells us, they are pushing to do more than just that.
The organizer says, she wants to be a connecter for under served communities such as the Haitian and Hispanic communities. Whether that be through medical resources, obtaining immigration papers, housing, jobs and much more.
She tells us, a lot of these communities want help but aren’t sure how to access it, so it’s her mission to get involved and make sure everyone in Delaware is served no matter what community they’re from. “With Love and Hope Rescue Mission, we use our resources and information to vulnerable populations so we can say okay, we might not know this information now, but we can tap you into an organization that does that,” says Rose Simon, Founder of Love and Hope Rescue Mission.
Simon also says, her organization is planning to have multiple events throughout the summer to get communities vaccinate, to educate, and to advocate for the resources her organization provides. She says she wants to continue getting the word out about her organization to gather funding, and continue serving the community.
