Three arrested in OC human trafficking operation

The Ocean City Police Department and Homeland Security Investigations Baltimore report that they recently conducted a joint investigation into human trafficking and prostitution in Ocean City with assistance from the Worcester County Bureau of Investigations and Maryland State Police.
According to the report, during the evenings of September 15 and 16, three women were arrested after detectives conducted an operation at an Ocean City hotel.
During the operation, detectives say they seized:
- Over 270 baggies of heroin, totaling a street value of $1,200
- A small amount of marijuana
- $350 in U.S. Currency
- A 2011 Honda Odyssey mini-van
- Five cell phones
- A police-style baton
Ocean City police then arrested Jamaica Brickhouse, 24, of Elkton, Shadia Kelliehan, 33, of Burtonsville, and Danielle Young, 28, of Ocean View.
According to the report, Brickhouse and Kelliehan were both charged with prostitution, while Young was charged with prostitution, possession of heroin and possession of heroin with intent to distribute.
Each of the arrestees were seen by a Maryland District Court Commissioner. Brickhouse and Kelliehan were released on personal recognizance, however Young was transferred to the Worcester County Jail on $75,000 bond.
Officials say that each individual was offered victim services through Homeland Security Investigations.
