Lewes man wanted for multiple thefts

Members of the Delaware State Police say they are looking for David Ciabattoni, Jr. 32, of Lewes, and are seeking the public’s help in locating him.

Troopers say Ciabattoni is wanted by the State Police for multiple counts of Theft, Burglary, and Selling Stolen Property.

Police say the charges stem from four separate incidents from the end of October.

According to police, Ciabattoni would take stolen cell phones and sell them at the Game Stop on Coastal Highway in Rehoboth Beach. According to police, Ciabattoni also reportedly once shoplifted a cell phone from the Atlantic Cellular Store, also located on Coastal Highway, and then went to the Game Stop to make the illegal transaction. 

On two occasions, troopers say Ciabattoni entered into his ex-girlfriends residence in Millsboro, and removed jewelry and money before leaving and later pawning the jewelry.

According to Delaware State Police, Ciabattoni is also wanted out of Lewes Police Department for numerous counts of theft.
