Early morning assault in OC leads to two arrests

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Ocean City Police have arrested two following a serious assault that took place early Friday morning.

We’re told that shortly after 12:30 a.m., officers were called to the 10th block of 130th Street for a report of a serious assault. On arrival, officers located four stabbing victims in front of Station 4 Fire Headquarters. Two of the victims were flown to TidalHealth by MSP Trooper 4, a third victim was flown to Christiana Hospital by DSP Trooper 2, and the fourth victim was not taken to the hospital. All four victims have non-life-threatening injuries.

It was determined that the suspects and victims had gotten into a physical altercation while attending a house party in the area. As a result, two arrests have been made.

18-year-old Stas Urbanski-Hughes and 18-year-old Brandon Storm Allen Messick have each been charged with four counts of first degree assault, four counts of second degree assault, four counts of reckless endangerment, and one count of openly wear and carry a dangerous weapon. The pair are waiting to be seen by a Maryland District Court Commissioner.
