Downtown Sneaks: First shoe store coming to Crisfield

CRISFIELD, Md.- Crisfield’s  first sneaker store is opening up next Saturday.

Andre Collins, who is one of the owners of Downtown Sneaks, said he is excited to bring this shop to the area.

Being from Crisfield and being the Director of the Crisfield Community Center Collins, said he comes through the town a lot and there’s a lack of businesses.

He said him and his partner are trying to provide a shoe store like this so people don’t have to travel outside of Crisfield to get shoes.

Collins added he hopes this new spot grows, as the community grows.

“Crisfield used to be a place that really thrived especially when iIwas growing up it was a fun area, rather it be for bars, different shops around town local businesses that were open Crisfield really used to be a thriving area and hopefully we can bring that back sometime soon,” Andre Collins, Co-owner of Downtown Sneaks, said.

We’re told they will be customizing shirts.

They will be open Monday through Saturday.

Their hours will vary, but people can expect their hours to generally run from 10 a.m to 6 p.m.
