One arrested in Crisfield on drug charges

A month long drug investigation has lead to an arrest in Somerset County.

Crisfield Police say they searched a home on Richardson Avenue, in connection to an on-going drug investigation. During the search, Investigators say they found cocaine, packing materials, paraphernalia of different sorts including spoons, and needles, $85 in cash, and several cellphones. Police say they arrested 53-year-old Robert Handy. He was charged with CDS intent to distribute narcotics, CDS paraphernalia for packaging, CDS possession of paraphernalia, CDS possession with intent to distribute, and CDS possession other than marijuana. Handy is now being held at the Somerset County Detention Center on a $150,000 bond, and has a bond review scheduled for Monday.

Police say they investigation is continuing.
