Sussex Tech Season Comes To An End

The Sussex Tech Ravens are coming off of an 8-2 regular season record as they enter the state title race. In the first round of playoffs, the Ravens are on the road taking on the Middletown Cavaliers who finished regular season play with the same 8-2 record.

One thing these two teams share is their losses to Salesianum, however, the Ravens lost 42-7 while the Cavaliers were held 20-6. On paper, it appears Middletown may have the upper-hand going into this game and the Cavaliers proved that exactly on the field.

Throughout the first quarter, Middletown managed to score 2 touchdowns well keeping Sussex Tech off the board. The first-quarter score was 14-0, but the Cavaliers we’re not going to stop there as they would continue to add another two touchdowns in the second quarter.

In the second half, Sussex Tech put up their first touchdown of the game, but Middletown kept fighting and scoring touchdowns of their own and held the lead throughout the entire game.

The Ravens saw their season come to an end tonight, but they should hold our heads up high on a great 2015 season.
