Police: Traffic stop leads to drug bust

An Easton man was arrested Friday evening after a traffic stop led authorities to drugs.

Around 6:20 p.m. Friday, Easton Police say they observed a vehicle near South Aurora Street that was apparently operating sound amplification equipment emitting sound audible greater than fifty feet.

Officers say they were able to detect a odor of marijuana from the car driven by 27-year-old Montez Harrigan.

A probable cause search was performed, and suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia was recovered.

Harrigan was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia.

Harrigan was taken before a District Court Commissioner, where he was ordered held at the Talbot County Detention Center on $7,500 bond.
