UPDATE: Cape Henlopen school bus vandalized with racial slur; DSP investigate multiple incidents

Authorities are investigating multiple incidents of criminal mischief, after troopers say a Cape Henlopen School District school bus was found vandalized with graffiti of a racial slur.
Delaware State Police say they are currently investigating two school buses parked near the Cape Henlopen High School, as well as other buildings and cars in Lewes, that were vandalized.
Authorities say the incident may have happened sometime over the weekend, Friday through early Monday. According to the report, the other things targeted include a forklift and mobile office trailer behind Midway Movie Theater, five vehicles at Boulevard Ford on Coastal Highway, a privately owned vehicle in Heritage Village on Bethpage Drive, and an abandoned trailer behind Midway Outlets.
There are currently no suspects at this point in the investigation. Anyone with information related these incidents are asked to call Troop 7 at 302-644-5020 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1800-847-3333.

The Cape Henlopen School District reports that one of their school buses was found to be vandalized with a racial slur, on Monday morning, in Lewes.
In reference to the photo going around on social media, Superintendent Robert Fulton says, "This morning we were made aware of a vandalism incident with one of our Cape Henlopen School District buses which we believe occurred sometime late last night. As soon as we were made aware of it, State Police were contacted and a report was made. We find this type of behavior to be reprehensible and it does not in any way reflect the views of our District. Please know that we will be fully cooperating with the State Police during their investigation. We thank you for your patience during this time while the State Police continue to look into the person or people responsible for this act."
