Local band director recognized

EASTON, Md. – Easton Middle School Band Director Mrs. Donna Ewing is being recognized as the Veterans of Foreign Wars Teacher of the Year at the Post District and State level for the VFW Department of Maryland.

The VFW Teacher of the Year award recognizes exceptional teachers for their outstanding commitment to teaching Patriotism to their students. We’re told Mrs. Ewing has always been a supporter of all the Veterans organizations and their programs.
