Man reportedly facing sixth DUI charge after Milford traffic stop

A Delaware man is facing DUI charges, after police say he was arrested for his sixth DUI offense during a traffic stop, in Milford.

The Milford Police Department says on Wednesday, around 12:53 A, an officer pulled over a 1998 Toyota, in the 300 block of Marshall Street, after noticing the vehicle make a U-turn and driving erratically. According to the report, during the traffic stop, the officer noticed the smell of alcohol. The driver was apparently identified as 55-year-old Martin Willey, of Milton.

According to law enforcement, a search of the vehicle revealed 9.9 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Willey was arrested and charged with sixth offense driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, possession of marijuana, and fail to remain within a single lane. He was later turned over to Sussex Correctional Institution on $6,500 secured bail.
