Del. legislator calls for public input on community improvement

DELAWARE – One Delaware legislator is taking to social media to not only try to unite the community, but also create an open discussion on problems in the first state.

Representative Bryan Shupe posted a call to the public on Facebook, asking questions such as, “what does a healthy, strong community look like?”

The small business owner says he is looking for ideas on ways to help recovery efforts from the current health and economic crisis. Representative Shupe tells us he hopes these conversations can be the beginning of a network of resources available for the community.

“I want to empower people to understand that especially in our local communities that we can be the ones that can actually make the change, if we have these discussions, if we communicate with each other,” said Shupe.
