Sussex Central Wins The Battle Of Georgetown

The Sussex Central Golden Knights played host to Henlopen rivals – the Sussex Tech ravens on Friday night and while the Golden Knights had some familiar faces on the floor, the Ravens have a whole new lineup on the floor this 2015-2016 season.

The Golden Knights took off with an early lead over the the Ravens with Kiante Sturgis taking control with a lay up followed by a three to get Central on the board. The Ravens managed to stay in it with a couple of threes in the first quarter as the Golden Knights held on for the 14-9 lead after the first quarter of play. Throughout the second quarter, Central was having a tough time making their shots, but they got some help with bonus free-throws.

The Golden Knights pulled away for the win in the Battle Of Georgetown, 77-55 the final.
