Kent County Use Big 2nd Half To Edge North Dorchester

The Kent County boys basketball team earned a road win Monday night when they traveled to North Dorchester and came away with a 82-52 victory. The win improves the Trojans to 2-2 on the year, while they loss drops the Eagles to 1-3.
The teams would be exchanging buckets early on as the Trojans pres would spark their offense. Manny Camper would be the beneficiary of several easy baskets as he was at the head of the press, and used his length to get deflection as several passes. But the Eagles would be up for the challenge, scoring in transition, led by their guard Andre Marble. He was finishing at the rack, or finding the open man as he would finish with a team high 23 points. The Trojans were up just 5 before closing the half with 3 straight lay ups to take a 11 point lead into the break. Camper came out firing in the third quarter as he finished with a game high 27 points. As the game began to get away from North Dorchester, more players began to find their flow for Kent County. Ricky Bowser would add 16 points, while Dwain Brown and Dashawn Lister would add 13 points and 10 points respectively.
Kent County returns to work Tuesday when they host Colonel Richardson, while North Dorchester travels to Easton on Tuesday.
