Salisbury resident reaching out for help after losing everything in house fire

SALISBURY, Md.- A Salisbury resident is looking for donations after losing everything in a house fire last weekend.

She’a Terry, one of the residents living in the home on First Street, said once she realized that smoke was coming from the house she ran out.

Terry was not able to grab anything as she left.

She added she does not have a permanent place to live and is currently staying at the Days Inn, but her stay there ends tomorrow.

Now, she is hoping the community will rally around her, especially because the fire was an emotional experience.

“If people want to reach out and help me to keep shelter, but most importantly prayers,” Terry said.

“God willing if everything works out I would like to take some of that money to get some counseling.”

Terry said after this tragic incident her faith isn’t gone, but she does need help to get back on her feet.

She had a fundraiser up on the website Give Send Go.

Terry also has a Cash App, and you can find her under $Shea8111.
