Lt. Brown to become next Milford Police Chief

On Monday, Milford mayor Brian Shupe and city council unanimously voted on a new police chief.
Lieutenant Kenneth Brown will succeed Chief E. Keith Hudson who announced his retirement in August.
The Milford-native Brown has been with the department for 30 and has held multiple positions within Milford PD.
We’re told he was trained by doctor Henry Lee and Vernon Geberth who were both key players in the OJ Simpson trial.
Brown tells 47 ABC he’ll place an emphasis on strengthening the relationship between the department and the community.
“The huge focuses will be community policing, engagement in the community, having our officers become more involved with the community. Let the community know who the officers are.” Brown tells 47 ABC.
Lieutenant Brown will be sworn in as police chief on January 11th.
