Adopt-A-Block gives presents for the holidays

While some of us were nestled under warm blankets Saturday morning, Adopt-a-block was out handing out holiday gifts to those who otherwise mostly would be without them.

Every other Saturday, during the year, volunteers team up to drop off food and other necessities to families in need who are pre-registered with the organization.

Saturday though, volunteers handed out 247 and hit 155. Adopt-a-block had help from students from James Bennett High School.

All-in-all, 47 ABC was told it was a lot of work, but it all went well.
