Cambridge Int’l hosts job fair for local residents

For some folks, the best gift imaginable this season would be a new career which is why Cambridge International hosted their first job fair on Tuesday evening.
To sweeten the deal, Cambridge International says they are making a monetary donation to the Wounded Warrior project on behalf of every applicant who came through their doors Tuesday.
The company reportedly has positions open in three departments which includes operations, engineering and sales.
We’re told the goal is to have the employees start their new positions as early as January.
Human Resources manager Ashley Church says the company works closely with the local economic development organization in Dorchester County.
“Unfortunately, manufacturing is leaving.” Explains Church. “The people of Cambridge and Salisbury and Wicomico, Dorchester and Somerset counties are really skilled employees and we’re just looking at branching out and getting some of them into our doors and working for Cambridge.”
