Bennett Clipped By Thurgood Marshall

The Bennett boys basketball team had a rough go of it Saturday in their first game of the Governor’s Challenge as they fell to Thurgood Marshall 71-36. The Clippers would hang in the game through most of the first quarter. Otis Russell would then connect on a buzzer beating 3 to end the quarter as Marshall would take a 23-18 lead into the second quarter. But the Pumas would turn up their defensive pressure from there, and completely dominating the remainder of the game. The Clippers return to work Monday when they play Easton at 4:45 at Wi-Hi.
