Easton Battles But Falls Short vs. Thomas Edison

The Easton boys basketball team took part in the Governor’s Challenge Saturday night where they took on 57-52. The Warriors would battle early on as Ryan Farr was on fire in the first quarter, connecting on 3 3’s and scoring all 11 of his points. Then in the second quarter, Ryan Hall would get going, along with Tyquan Beckett. Still, the Warriors would trail by 2 after a buzzer beating 3 to end the half. Easton continued to use their height in the second half but would still find themselves down 3 late in the game. The Warriors would look to move the all around, but a turnover and a score on the other end would seal the game. Easton returns to the court Monday when they face Bennett at Wi-Hi at 4:45.
