Man assaulted, robbed in Craigslist meet-up

Troopers are investigating a robbery and assault of a man after he came to Lewes to make a purchase off Craigslist.

The 32-year-old male victim says he came down to Lewes from Dover to buy an item posted on Craigslist.  Once the two met, three men approached his car and punched the victim in the face, then continued to assault him.

The suspects made off with jewelry and a cell phone.  The three suspects could only be described as one white male and two black males.
