Berlin family safe after fire rips through home

Fire officials say a family of five, including two adults and three children, are safe after a fire ripped through their home on Saturday afternoon.
Multiple fire companies, including the Berlin Fire Company, responded to the Greenbriar Drive home around 3:30 p.m.
Chief Jimmy Corron tells 47ABC they found a large amount of fire in the rear of the two-story home.
We’re told it about one hour to control the fire.
Chief Corron says no injuries were reported; however, the exact cause of fire remains under investigation by the Worcester County Fire Marshal.
Other responding agencies included Bishopville Volunteer Fire Department, Showell Volunteer Fire Department, and the Ocean City Fire Department.
