Local community organization donates books to Buckingham Elementary

BERLIN, Md. – A local community organization is helping children develop their reading skills while learning about history too.

On Monday, the Germantown School Community Heritage Center announced they donated books to Buckingham Elementary. We’re told the books feature African American leaders and their historical significance. They titled their donation “Books for Buckingham” and say they hope each student enjoys their book and learns something about prominent African American leaders.
