Police say man fires gun on Dover gas station employee during an argument Saturday
DOVER, Del.- The Dover Police Department is looking for a suspect involved in a shooting incident that happened Saturday afternoon at a gas station.
We are told around 2:50 p.m., officers responded to the U.S. Gas service station at 461 N. DuPont Highway for a report of shots fired during a verbal altercation.
The investigation revealed that Joshua Brown, 40- years-old, was involved in a verbal argument with an employee about a purchase.
We are told during the incident, Brown said “I’ll shoot” and removed a black handgun from his waistband and fired one shot in the direction of the employee.
The employee was not injured.
Police said Brown then fled the area.
Brown is currently wanted by the Dover Police Dept. for charges that include possession of a firearm, reckless endangering, and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
