Salisbury Police searching for suspect wanted for armed robbery
SALISBURY, Md. – Police are searching for a suspect connected to an armed robbery that happened late Friday night in Salisbury.
We’re told the incident happened shortly before midnight, at the Shore Stop Convenience Store located at 1020 Eastern Shore Drive. Officers met with the 32-year-old male victim who reported that while he was sitting in his vehicle, he was approached by a male suspect, who then put an object to the back of the victim’s head, indicating that he was in possession of a firearm.
The victim then gave the suspect his wallet that contained miscellaneous debit, credit, and identification cards, as well as cash. The suspect then fled the scene.
Salisbury Police detectives were able to obtain video surveillance of the suspect as well as a photograph of the vehicle the suspect was seen operating after the robbery. The suspect is described as a male, short cut hair, thin build, approximately 5’10” in height, and approximately 20 to 30 years of age. He was wearing a white shirt, black jacket with white spots, and black pants at the time of the incident. The vehicle is believed to be a silver-colored four-door Toyota sedan.
