Rehoboth in the running for “happiest seaside town” in America

From now until January 25th, folks across the country can vote for their favorite town to determine which will be named Coastal Living Magazine’s number one Happiest Seaside Town in America.
The magazine released it’s 2016 list of the happiest places to live by the sea, and Rehoboth Beach in among the top ten contenders.
47 ABC spoke some folks in the beach town on Wednesday and told us why they think it’s so happy and should come out on top.
Rodney Morgan says, “There’s a lot of retirees and retirees tend to be happy. They don’t have to work and worry. I think the other part of it is people are on vacation.”
Lisa Phillips says, “It’s just a great place to come. There are a variety of different people here. They have a lot of events and it’s just a year round place now to come.”
Jeff Phillips says, “The atmosphere is great. It’s low-key, family oriented, we just like it.”
Voting for the Happiest Seaside Town ends on the coastal living’s website at midnight PST.
