Utility officials look for ways to Help Customers

"Winter is Coming" and utility officials are teaming up with other agencies on Delmarva to help customers.
Delmarva Power is hosting a Low Income Energy Summit Thursday in Salisbury.
The summit brings together several agencies including the State Department of Emergency Services and The American Red Cross.
Delmarva Power Region Vice President, John Allen, says the event is aimed at finding ways to save customers' money and talk about emergency situations in the wake of the hurricanes that have ravaged several communities around the country.
"This year, we will be talking about emergency preparedness which of course is very instrumental to the community and to the population that these agencies serve."
The summit is not open to the public, but begins on Thursday at 9 am.
Organizers say various topics will be covered including Low Income Energy assistance funding.
