Buccaneers storm back to force two OT’s, fall to CSD

The Cambridge Vikings squandered a 20 point lead in the fourth quarter, to let Kent Island tie the game once in regulation, and once in overtime, only to get that lead back and defeat the Bucs 75-71 on Thursday night.
Cambridge led 50-28 after three quarters, only to see Kent Island storm back, as big man Ben Young layed the ball into the basket to send the game into overtime. In OT, Cambridge would pull ahead off a couple of big three pointers by Michael Richardson, but yet again fail to close out the Bucs with Young again knotting the game up with a layup. In the second OT, Cambridge went on a run to lock up the lead and keep it.
Richardson led all Vikings with 20 points, including 6 three pointers. Emory Wongus put in 18 in the win. For Kent Island, Tariq Johnson scored 25, while Young scored 20.
