Gas Prices Dropping on Delmarva

A nice September surprise for Delmarva drivers.
AAA says gas prices are dropping down and may get even cheaper in the coming weeks.
Gas prices in the area went north of the $2.50 mark when the Gulf Coast was hit by two hurricanes and refineries were forced to shut down temporarily.
Now, officials say most of the refineries have reopened and are supplying Delmarva again.
AAA spokesperson, Ken Grant says Maryland has already seen a $0.09 drop in prices.
"We are looking at continuing drop of prices of course we saw almost a 50 cent increase following the inital storms of Harvey and since then they've started to slowly come back down."
Maryland's average gas price right now is $2.58 per gallon which is 28 cents less than the same time last month.
AAA says aside from the refineries getting in gear, suppliers are switching to a winter blend which is cheaper.
