Local organizations donate care packages to those serving overseas

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Two organizations recently came together to donate care packages to servicemen and women overseas.

On Sunday, Post 166 members, along with Operation We Care, filled up 125 boxes with toiletries, food, and a host of everyday items. We’re told the boxes will be sent to six different locations in the middle east.

Operation We Care founder Jeff Merritt says that while the boxes are stuffed with a variety of items, no two boxes are the same.
