A Bridgeville business owner making her second appearance on Shark Tank Dec. 11
BRIDGEVILLE, Del.- A Bridgeville business owner will soon be swimming with the sharks for a second time. Well Kind of.
Katey Evans is the co-owner of The Frozen Farmer, a business that was created to cut food waste from her families farm, by re-purposing it into ice cream.
Evans first appeared on the show in March getting a deal to help expand her business nationwide and create a delivery program.
Now, she said she’s heading back to the sharks hoping to get help in her mission to help reduce food waste on farms across the nation.
“In the future, we hope to partner with other farms across the nation as our product line grows and we start having to source fruit from other avenues, other farmers to be able to help them reduce their food waste footprint too,” Evans said.
While we can’t give you more specific details on the episode, we can tell you it will air December 11th at 8 p.m.
Evans adds that since her first time on Shark Tank they heard from customers all over the United States and other countries.
She adds that The Frozen Farmer is open year round.
